Meet The Team

    Karen Swash FCA

    Karen gained a 1st class degree in Mathematics from Imperial College, London. She then trained with a top 10 accountancy practice in London, and qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2000.

    Karen broadened her accountancy experience in London and then relocated her family to Oxfordshire. She then took a short career break to raise her children.

    Karen set up her own accountancy business in 2010. Since then she has grown the business steadily, and in 2016 Swash & Co was formed.  She has built an enviable client list by offering a personal, professional and friendly service.

        Tom Swash FCA

        Tom joined Swash & Co in June 2016. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 2001 with a top 10 firm of accountants in London. Since then he has broadened his accountancy experience both in practice and working directly for companies, most recently Vodafone.

        Tom enjoys working closely with clients of all sizes, from sole traders to large companies, and actively seeks the most tax efficient solutions to help reduce their costs.

            Trudy Hansen AICB

            Trudy gained an honours degree in International Business and German from Aston University and completed stage 1 of the Institute of Chartered Accountancy training with Price Waterhouse, a leading global accountancy practice. Trudy went on to work for Lloyd’s of London, the international insurance market, qualified with the Chartered Insurance Institute and worked primarily in business development roles.

            After leaving London to start a family in Oxfordshire, Trudy initially returned to work providing office management services to a number of small local businesses. Trudy became a Certified Bookkeeper in 2017 and has a Level III Diploma in Self-Assessment Tax Returns. Trudy has been working with Karen since 2014 and shares her commitment to providing personal, professional and friendly business services to the range of small and successful businesses based in the local area.
